Physiotherapy is used in the management of a wide variety of injuries and conditions to help relieve pain and promote healing and well-being.
As physiotherapists we aim to alleviate pain, restore normal movement and help to return the body to its normal balanced state using a variety of treatment techniques, equipment and facilities. We listen to our clients, assess the problems and then identify and treat their problem appropriately. We spend time with the client to show them how to help prevent the problem from happening again, and to understand their body's healing process.
Clients may be taught a little about the mechanism and causes of their problem, so that they can understand the exercises they may need to carry out and help stop reoccurrence.
